The New Hiring Reality

AI isn't coming to hiring. It's already running the front door.

First of all — thank you for spending an hour with me today. I spent most of March at conferences, and this topic came directly out of the conversations I kept having with founder friends and executives at breakfast, at lunch, over wine at the bar. How are you testing for AI? How are your employees using it? And — increasingly — how are you using it to find and screen talent?

Those conversations aren't happening on the main stage. They're happening in the hallways. And the numbers behind them are unambiguous:

87%  of companies now use AI in hiring — up to 99% depending on how you define "use."

75%  of resumes are rejected by an ATS before a human ever sees them.

3x  growth in AI-conducted interviews in just two years — from 10% to 34% of companies.

Here's the big shift, and the one thing I want you to walk away with today: we are not far off from the first phase of hiring being handled by a recruiter's AI agent talking to a candidate's AI agent. So the question I want you sitting with isn't "How good is my resume?" It's "Am I visible to the algorithm?"

Because here's the thing — AI learns from what it sees. If your expertise, your talks, your certifications, your point of view aren't in the public domain, the algorithm can't learn from them. And it can't surface you. I know putting yourself out there is hard for a lot of you — and I hear that. But visibility isn't optional anymore. It's the new job security.

The Framework

F.O.U.N.D.

I'm a systems thinker — so I turned this into a framework you can actually follow. Five steps to make sure your expertise and impact are findable in an AI-driven market.

F

Find your baseline

Google yourself. Set a Google alert for your name. What shows up? If your women's health expertise isn't on page one, neither AI nor a recruiter can see it. Buy your domain name. Know where you stand today.

O

Own your story

Don't write "managed a doula care program." Write "scaled a doula program that reduced C-section rates by 18% across four hospitals." Give the algorithm impact to pattern-match against — not job titles.

U

Update your signals regularly

Set a recurring calendar reminder. New certification? Post about it. Panel? Write the recap. And listen — I'll be the first to tell you I'm bad at this. I was on five panels in March and haven't written about a single one yet. So let's normalize that part, then actually fix it together.

N

Network in public

You don't have to be on a panel to network in public. Coffee with three women talking about perimenopause is networking in public — if you post about it. Every public mention is another breadcrumb the algorithm picks up.

D

Distribute with intent

You're not writing for the likes. You're writing for the robot. Substack, LinkedIn articles, op-eds, podcast guest spots — every piece is a data point. Even if five people read it, the algorithm reads it too.

What's Next

The question I want you sitting with: Are you feeding the system the signals for the job you have — or the one you want next?

The webinar was the what. Here's the how.

The IWH Career Mastermind starts in 10 days.

Today was the what. The Mastermind is the how. It's where I work with a cohort of 20 to actually build this out — your resume, your pitch, your visibility strategy, your story — with me in your corner every step.

This is also the first cohort I'm running since the latest Claude release. Which means we get to do things that weren't possible six months ago — including downloading your full LinkedIn network and building a personal dashboard in Claude to track every connection, every conversation, and every opportunity in one place. I'm genuinely excited about what this unlocks for you.

Here's what that actually looks like over four weeks:

Get found.  We rewrite your resume, LinkedIn, pitch, and story from scratch. You get a 15-page personal strengths report. 25+ outreach templates — including the thank-you note that works 70% of the time. And I personally give you feedback on every deliverable.

Stay found.  You walk out with the people you should be following, the conferences worth attending, monthly alumni calls to keep the momentum, and a three-month IWH Pro membership.

Get hired.  I hand you direct contact info for key recruiters and hiring managers in women's health. Access to the IWH job board with 1,500+ roles. Group interview prep and individual feedback.

And one thing worth saying directly: this isn't just for women's health job seekers. The story, the network, the visibility strategy, the pitch, the negotiation — those frameworks work whether you're heading into femtech, SaaS, policy, or anywhere else. The women's health lens sits on top, it's not the foundation.
