Wow. How is it February already?

It’s been 4 weeks since our last newsletter — to me, that’s a sign of how busy women’s health, hiring and policy worlds are right now.

The JP Morgan Healthcare Conference kicked off the year with a whirlwind. With 30+ events, including the Innovator’s Breakfast Co-Hosted by In Women’s Health and 6 other key founders. It was fantastic to see so many faces. If you haven’t seen all of the recap posts, search LinkedIn for “#JPM2025” and “women’s health.” There are too many to highlight here.

We’ve had a significant number of women’s health companies announce big fundraises in the last few weeks. This bodes well for hiring for these companies and my inbox is full of Founders who are looking to hire.

I’ve featured a few of these in the job listings below.

The Inauguration and all of the changes in Washington have brought feelings and emotions across the spectrum for many of us. While we have certainly transitioned into a new environment for women’s health in Washington, there are a number of reasons why I believe we can still make progress for women’s health.

Last night, the Women’s Health PAC hosted an event in New York with Kate Ryder and Tamsen Fadal at the New York Stock Exchange - How Menopause Is Sparking Bipartisan Progress for Women's Health. Joined by over 150 people, we heard about the bipartisan opportunities that exist around women’s health when we tell our stories, break taboos and get the coverage we need in the workplace.

And we publicly made some key strategic announcements at the WHPAC event including:

  • The launch of the Women’s Health Reimbursement Summit

  • Merger with the Doctors for Fertility PAC

  • 2025 Goals

You can hear all about the evening and our 2025 plans here.

We also hosted the first-ever 10-Steps To Get a Job in Women’s Health Masterclass in January where 14 people are getting group-time. The next cohort will start in early Summer.

We had a lot of data released in the last few weeks from Springboard, McKinsey, BCG and WHAM. If you are working or want to work in the industry — you need to study these reports.

Finally, the next cohort of the Women’s Health Mini-MBA gets started next week. We heard lots of talk about this at the JPMorgan Healthcare conference from both past students, upcoming students, founders and investors.

The class is quickly becoming a baseline for top talent to learn the nuances of the business of women’s health. We have 10 slots left.

Interested in the Business of Women’s Health but not quite sure you’re ready to take the plunge into the Women’s Health Mini-MBA?

Join us for our last two free sessions on the Business of Women’s Health this week.

We are working on some exciting courses around VBC and Women’s Health, Medicaid and Women’s Health and some How-To’s, How to Get a Meeting with Payers and more.

There you have it. A whirlwind month. If I haven’t written you back yet, I’m sorry. I will do my best to get back on track with weekly newsletters starting next week!
