When I started this newsletter back in late Feb it was to help founders find talent, and friends get into women’s health.

This week we crossed 1,000 subscribers.

Women are not ok. We have a lot of problems to solve to improve the lives of women.

We have big boulders to move, big systemic challenges, and big cultural shifts that need to happen. We need everyone pushing together, connected through a global system, to improve the lives of women.

I’m on a mission to build a global workforce for women’s health.

We need a global workforce that is connected, collaborating and has the knowledge needed to move faster. We all need to be pushing together, oriented towards “Coopetition” vs. Competition. Talent that is learning from each other, connected to each other and helping each other advance. It’s a unique element of the women’s health community that gives us a competitive advantage.

So we’re doing it. We are creating the platform to enable the smartest people to work on the hardest problems in women’s health.

Through education, community and technology we will find, connect and upskill the millions of workers (non-clinical and clinical) it will take to move the needle in women’s health. At our core, will be self-awareness because until we know more about ourselves and our own health, we cannot transform the next generation.

Our brand is inclusive, because we need everyone - regardless of how you identify - helping us push through these roadblocks. This is not just a women’s problem that women can solve. In fact, our first hire from our community was a man who has spent his career in women’s health.

I see a world in which women are not an afterthought but always held in mind - at home, at the office, within organizations — and with themselves.

Let’s work together to create a world in which it’s natural to say “of course we’ll look at these research findings with a gender lens” or “Yes, we will also test female crash test dummies to make sure this car is just as safe for women” or “let’s think about how that new corporate policy will impact women, or those going through menopause, or fertility treatment.”

We have a lot of work to do. We need you.
